Abstract
⺠In this paper we study the fractal behavior of proteins deposited in the protein data bank. ⺠We observe that protein behaves as SOC object. ⺠Moreover, the results show that proteins follow distributions q-Gaussian. ⺠However, the masses and volumes are extensive variables. ⺠This behavior occurs because power laws don't follow normal curves.
