Abstract
⺠We present two mathematical models to plan ward layouts over multiple periods. ⺠We consider the varying demand for different-sized bed rooms on a ward. ⺠We model both a fixed and a variable ward layout with adaptable room sizes. ⺠The models can be used by hospital planners as decision support tool.
