Abstract
⺠Increasing importance of renewable energy sources. ⺠Integration properties of solar, geothermal and biomass energy consumption in the U.S. ⺠The results show differences in the order of integration depending on the type of energy. ⺠Structural breaks traced for these energy types affect the order of integration. ⺠The order of integration is less than 1, so energy conservation policies are transitory.
