Abstract
âºEnergy consumption in Kuwait is increasing at a rate of 8% annually. âºPower plant sector is the major energy consumer, the consumption in these plants alone will reach 10% and 26.5% of the total oil produced in 2010 and 2020, respectively. âºWith the oil production rate of 2008, all of the energy produced will be consumed locally by 2027. âºModification of existing power plants is necessary to increase their production and reduce their waste. âºEstablishing an energy conservation programs among different sectors would restrict the accelerated depletion of Kuwait's only fuel resource.
