Abstract
âºThe broad scale adoption of CNG for transportation in Argentina was initiated by a market demand for an effective fuel that was priced at a significantly lower level compared to the mainstream alternatives. âºThe Argentine played a marginal role in the development of refueling infrastructure. âºThe role of the government focused on sending clear signals to the marketplace and developing effective codes and standards. âºConsumers willingness to switch to CNG increases as state of the economy deteriorates and disposable incomes decrease.
