Abstract
âºThis paper identifies some alternatives for electric exchange. âºIt considers interconnections among the power systems of Bolivia, Chile, Colombia, Ecuador and Peru. âºThe proposed interconnections have significant economic benefits in the long run. âºBenefits come from the supply side, demand side, system-cost savings and environmental side. âºWe also analyze the commercial and regulatory issues.
