Abstract
⺠The Yucca Mountain storage site has been prematurely terminated. ⺠Expansion of Yucca Mountain capacity should in fact be considered. ⺠PUREX reprocessing and actinide vitrification should be promoted. ⺠TRISO-fueled reactor technology should be subsidized. ⺠Efforts to commercialize technology for burning of waste should intensify.
