Abstract
⺠We examined the relationship between country-of-origin and the impact on the liability-of-foreignness. ⺠Both tangible and intangible aspects of the liability-of-foreignness of subsidiaries were examined. ⺠Globalization was viewed as a force that is reducing the impact of the liability-of-foreignness given the move towards more commonly precepts of doing business. ⺠The importance and power of stigmatization was also assess as an important aspect when looking at acceptance of individuals from foreign countries.
