Abstract
⺠We explore the possible futures of the resistance to evolutionary psychology (EP) at the hands of social conservatives and social progressives. ⺠In order for evolutionary psychology to thrive, scientists must be allowed to operate free of socio-political forces. ⺠Resistance to EP is fueled by its counter-intuitive nature: Our minds are not built to grasp its major concepts.
