Abstract
The purpose of this study is to explore the relationship between specific forms of political risk and the political activities used by firms to manage these risks. The results found here provide empirical evidence for the notion that the type of political activity engaged in by firms will differ depending on the form of political threat faced. Implications for future research as well as applications for practitioners are presented.
