Abstract
⺠More theories of the dynamics and evolution of business relations and networks are needed. ⺠We propose a theory of change and evolution based on social evolution theory and complex adaptive systems. ⺠Change and evolution are explained in terms of the underlying mechanisms and processes driving behavior. ⺠The underlying mechanisms and processes are the real focus of management attention. ⺠Additional research methods are required to fully explore the dynamics and evolution of business relations and networks.
