Abstract
⺠There is a need for more dynamic theories of trust in business relations. ⺠A process model of dynamic and evolutionary trust in business relations is presented based on complex adaptive systems. ⺠Psychological, social and economic mechanisms and processes drive trust in business relations over time. ⺠This dynamic model offers valuable new ways to study the behavior of business relationships and networks. ⺠This dynamic model offers valuable new ways to develop decision support tools for managers and policy makers.
