Abstract
⺠Innovation processes conceptualised as two interacting sub-processes; mobilising actor-networks and knowledge exploration. ⺠Confrontations between these processes explain the divergence-convergence patterns observed in innovation studies. ⺠“Friction” and “interaction” are related to analytical challenges in innovation process studies. ⺠Adds to the analytical underpinnings of network oriented innovation process studies, by relating IMP and ANT concepts.
