Abstract
⺠The major cooking fuels in Nigeria face supply difficulties. ⺠Nigeria plans to partially replace the cooking fuels with bioethanol. ⺠The projects has social, economic and environmental benefits. ⺠The negative impacts include deforestation, pollution and food versus fuel conflict.
