Abstract
Five dibutyltin(IV)-bis(dithiocarbimato) complexes with the general formula A2[Sn(Bu)2(RSO2NCS2)2] [A = Ph4P+; Bu = CH3CH2CH2CH2; R = C6H5 (1), 4-FC6H4 (2), 4-ClC6H4 (3), 4-BrC6H4 (4) and 4-IC6H4 (5) were obtained and characterized by IR, NMR (1H, 13C{1H} and 119Sn{1H}) and 119Sn Mössbauer. Compounds 1 and 2 were also characterized by X-ray diffraction techniques. The compounds 1-5 are active against the phytopatogenic fungus Colletotrichum gloeosporioides.
