Abstract
Laser ablation synthesis and simultaneous identification of selenium-sulfur compounds generated from various precursors was studied using a commercial MALDI-TOF mass spectrometric instrumentation. For example, laser ablation of selenium disulfide leads to the formation of at least fifty one compounds. In total, twelve new species and/or clusters are described for the first time.
