Abstract
Treatment of M(N(SiMe3)2)2(THF)2 (M = Sr, Ba) with tetraglyme, triglyme or N,N,Nâ²,Nâ³,Nâ³-pentamethyldiethylenetriamine (PMDETA) followed by 3,5-di-tert-butylpyrazole (2 equiv) afforded monomeric complexes of the formula M(tBu2pz)2(L). These complexes possess monomeric structures with terminal η2-pyrazolato ligands, and are of relevance to the development of volatile group 2 film growth precursors.
