Abstract
⺠A synergic approach has been presented towards unraveling structural, spectroscopic and magnetic properties of new copper(II) complexes with a substituted terpyridine ligand. ⺠Novel compounds exhibit counterion dependency which significantly affects their structure. ⺠The presence of H-bonds leads to rare antiferromagnetic interactions in the solid state.
