Abstract
⺠Group 12 metal dithiocarbamates have been synthesized and isolated as air stable solids. ⺠The complexes were characterized by elemental analyzes, FTIR, 1H and 13C NMR spectroscopy. ⺠The complexes were used as single molecular precursors for the synthesis of nanoparticles. ⺠The optical and structural properties of the nanoparticles were evaluated.
