Abstract
⺠Cyclotriphosphazene was reacted with the alkoxide form of seven 1,n-diols. ⺠Two types of products (spiro and ansa) were formed by intramolecular reactions. ⺠Three intermolecular types of products (single-, double- and triple-bridged) formed. ⺠Quantitation of the products was made by 31P NMR of the reaction mixtures. ⺠The proportion of bridged compounds increases with the chain length of the diol.
