Abstract
⺠Ortho aminomethyl substituted isoquinolines readily convert to respective bis(isoquinolylcarbonyl)amide. ⺠Reaction in air with [Cu(OAc)2(H2O)]2 in ethanol achieve this conversion. ⺠Oxidation of methylene group and N-C bond coupling are important steps.
