Abstract
Two copper(II) complexes [CuIIClHLdl] and [CuIIClHLl] were prepared, where H2Ldl denotes N-[5-methylimidazol-4-yl)methylidene]-dl-phenylalanine and H2Ll denotes its l-form. The deprotonation reactions of [CuIIClHLdl] and [CuIIClHLl] gave a tetranuclear complex of [CuIILdl(H2O)]4 and an octanuclear complex of [CuIILl]8, respectively.
