Abstract
⺠Reactivity of nitrilotriacetic acid with copper salts have been studied. ⺠Two types of complexes are obtained in one pot synthesis. ⺠Complexes are characterized using spectroscopic and X-ray techniques. ⺠DFT calculations suggested that copper activates oxalato complex formation.
