Abstract
⺠Crystal structure of Pb2[Fe(CN)6]·4H2O was solved from synchrotron powder XRD. ⺠We use direct methods to solve the structure and refined it by the Rietveld method. ⺠Pb2[Fe(CN)6]·4H2O crystallizes in the monoclinic crystal system, space group P21/n. ⺠The Fe2+ cation is octahedrally coordinated and the Pb2+ cation is five coordinated. ⺠The thermal decomposition of Pb2[Fe(CN)6]·4H2O in air was studied.
