Abstract
⺠One imine function of a (diimine-diamine)nickel(II) cation was reduced. ⺠A novel (imine-triamine tetraazamacrocycle)nickel(II) cation resulted. ⺠This was isolated as two isomers arising from chiral nitrogen centres present. ⺠These isomers interconvert extremely slowly in solution. ⺠The structures of three compounds of the cation are reported.
