Abstract
Two copper(II) complexes of cis,trans-1,3,5-triaminocyclohexane, formed at pH 11, are interlinked via chloride anions to a dimer featuring a single, linear Cu-Cl-Cu motif. Susceptibility measurements show that the Jahn-Teller-distored copper(II) ions are weakly antiferromagnetically coupled.
