Abstract
Three octacyanometalate(IV) coordination polymers containing copper(II), nickel(II), 1,3-propanediamine, and ammonia have been prepared. The amine ligands limit the number and directionality of cyano linkages formed between metal centers. Surprisingly, 1- and 3-D structures are obtained instead of the expected 2-D structures.
