An unprecedented μ4-SiF62--bridged supramolecular polymer consisting of bis-μ-F− bridged dinuclear Cu(II) dications

Using thermal conditions a unique supramolecular Cu(II) polymer built up of [Cu2(dipyridylamine)2(μ-F)2] motifs repeated infinitely along the (0 1 0) direction via SiF62- bridges was synthesised.
