Abstract
The polymeric sheet structure of [WS4Ag2(Hmimt)2]n is the first example of a complex in which a tetrathiometalate coordinates in a monodentate fashion to another metal. Silver is in two very different coordination environments, one with only [WS4]2â ligands and the other with both bridging and terminal thione ligands as well as the monodentate [WS4]2â.
