Abstract
Two cobalt complexes were obtained through the reaction of 2-(3,4-dichlorophenyl)imino-N-(2-thiazolin-2-yl)thiazolidine (TdTn) with CoCl2 · 6H2O and 2-(3,4-dichlorophenyl)imino-N-(2-thiazin-2-yl)thiazolidine (TdTz) with the same metallic salt. Both compounds were characterized by single crystal X-ray diffraction, elemental analysis, spectroscopic and magnetic measurements. Both complexes present a pseudotetrahedral geometry around the cobalt (II) ion.
