Abstract
⺠Continuous cooling experiments were performed both in DSC and in bulk states. ⺠Akermanite and gehlenite are the major minerals in the continuously cooled slag. ⺠Crystallization mechanism is surface nucleation and one-dimensional bulk nucleation. ⺠The activation energy during cooling is much higher than during heating.
