Abstract
⺠New Mg-Cu-Ti-Y quaternary bulk metallic glasses (BMGs) with diameter of 2 mm have been designed and fabricated. ⺠The Ïf, εe, Hv and E values of Mg60Cu27Ti3Y10 BMG sample reach up to 879 MPa, 3.04%, 347 and 34 GPa, respectively. ⺠The dominant fracture behavior of the Mg60Cu27Ti3Y10 is a ductile fracture mode at micro-level.
