Abstract
⺠Structure-property correlation of silicates was developed using Raman spectroscopy. ⺠Q3/Q2 ratio was found to be a novel index for a degree of polymerization. ⺠Effect of Mn and Mg on calcium silicate structure was clarified. ⺠Viscosity, density, conductivity can be quantitatively expected using Q3/Q2 ratio. ⺠This methodology can be widely extended to multicomponent silicate systems.
