Abstract
⺠Glass-ceramics with pyroxene structure were prepared starting from basaltic rock. ⺠Differential thermal analysis was used to investigate the non-isothermal crystallization kinetics. ⺠The activation energies were calculated using isoconversional methods. ⺠The addition of 10% TiO2 and 2% ZrO2 upon the crystallization kinetics was investigated.
