Abstract
► Ion tracks in four Fe-B based metallic glasses were studied. ► SAXS enabled a non-destructive study of ion tracks in metallic glasses. ► The morphology of ion tracks in metallic glasses was determined experimentally. ► We determined radii, formation threshold and density change of the ion tracks. ► Binary alloys appear to have 30% higher track formation threshold.
