Abstract
⺠Ion tracks in four Fe-B based metallic glasses were studied. ⺠SAXS enabled a non-destructive study of ion tracks in metallic glasses. ⺠The morphology of ion tracks in metallic glasses was determined experimentally. ⺠We determined radii, formation threshold and density change of the ion tracks. ⺠Binary alloys appear to have 30% higher track formation threshold.
