Abstract
⺠Complex fluxes were investigated to improve LAS glass-ceramics temperature properties. ⺠Excess B2O3 causes severe spinodal decomposition and formation of Al3Si6.84BO18. ⺠Excess Fâ ions lead to uncontrollable crystallization, yet promote formation of needle crystals. ⺠Complex fluxes relieve adverse effects caused by excess B2O3 and Fâ ions. ⺠Sample crystallized completely under 800 °C could be further studied as bond of diamonds.
