Abstract
⺠Classic and high content silica canasite glass ceramic & matrix were characterized. ⺠Chemical durability and weathering resistance were tested and compared. ⺠High content silica sample shows better stability except for alkaline condition. ⺠The appearance and mechanism of chemical durability & weathering was discussed.
