Abstract
⺠Mechanical analysis nanocomposites with low nanowires content < 10 vol% . ⺠Shear modulus increase of 300% for 5 vol%. ⺠5 vol% seems to be the limit to maintain the mechanical properties. ⺠This limit is higher than the 1 vol% of NWs necessary to obtain percolation threshold. ⺠HT model link the mechanical behavior to the aspect ratio of randomly dispersed NWs.
