Abstract
► MTE observed in Mn containing glasses for the first time in xFe2O3(0.2 − x) MnO0.8TeO2 glasses. ► Mixed Transition-ion Effect observed in resistivity, activation energy, density and molar volume. ► MTE is a nonlinear variation in properties as a function of transition ion ratio (Mn/(Mn + Fe)). ► SP hopping between Fe3 + (Mn3 +) and Fe2 + (Mn2 +) sites is the main mechanism of electrical conduction. ► Increased entropy caused by mixing of the TIs enhances Anderson localization resulting in MTE in ρ, W.
