Abstract
⺠Nitridation of fiber glass silicate materials with ammonia at high temperatures. ⺠in situ DRIFT study of NHx-species formation and their hydrolysis. ⺠Limiting step is chemical reaction between ammonia and silanol groups but not diffusion NH3 or H2O in the bulk of glass.
