Abstract
⺠An electrochemical procedure for obtaining silver nanoparticles in glasses is presented. ⺠The cell used allow only the migration of Ag ions through the glass as electrolyte. ⺠Ag particles are formed by a redox reaction involving Fe ions. ⺠Particles of average size between 2 nm to 6 nm are obtained.
