Abstract
⺠We investigate the local structural stability of rubble-pile asteroids. ⺠The stability analysis should be done out in the Tisserand's mean axes of the body. ⺠We probe stability to infinitesimal and finite perturbations of several NEAs. ⺠Explore influence of parameters such as internal friction and plastic bulk modulus. ⺠We obtain bounds on internal friction and plastic bulk modulus of some asteroids.
