Abstract
The in-medium properties of vector and scalar mesons have been studied in photoproduction experiments on nuclei. Results on the ω meson and the π0π0 channel are reported. The experimental data are compared to recent model calculations. The perspectives of studying the in-medium properties of charmed mesons are outlined.
