Abstract
⺠Embryonic cells and hearts from clk-1-deficient mice could be cultured with serum. ⺠They exhibited slowed cell growth and heart rate, and mitochondrial dysfunctions. ⺠Exogenous CoQ completely recovered growth, heart rate, and mitochondrial function. ⺠clk-1 regulates biological rates via CoQ-mediated mitochondrial function in mice.
