Abstract
⺠The impact of climate conditions on human longevity was examined throughout Japan. ⺠The current probability of becoming centenarian is 3 times higher in Okinawa. ⺠Physical environment and land use explain a large proportion of these results. ⺠Accumulated impact of climate conditions may explain a large part of these.
