Abstract
⺠Age-related cognitive decline in DS was modulated neonatally. ⺠NPC had better long term survival in aging DS brains than non-DS brains. ⺠NPC implanted during the neonatal period reduced age associated tau aggregation. ⺠Neonatal implantation produced dichotomous results between aging DS and non-DS brains.
