Abstract
⺠New interventions that enhance healthspan in animals may be translatable to humans. ⺠Pre-clinical and clinical trial paradigms need to be devised to do so. ⺠Research funding and lack of translational investigators are roadblocks. ⺠Options for translating interventions that target aging processes are reviewed.
