Abstract
► Prevention should be considered as any intervention before the patient receives a diagnosis. ► Aging is a systemic, dynamic process with marked inter-individual heterogeneity. ► Arterial aging can be measured in clinical settings non-invasively and in a reproducible manner. ► Cognitive impairment is significantly associated with arterial aging. ► An assessment, including arterial aging evaluation, may favour effective and timely prevention even at older ages.
