Abstract
Cells coated with micrometer-sized collagen layers were applied to construct 3D-tissue models with HUVECs. Location control of HUVEC networks inside the tissues were successfully controlled using a mixing method and a sandwich culture method. This study indicates that control of cell location in thick tissue with lower cell density can easily be achieved by collagen coated cells.261
