Abstract
- We developed a new 3D multicellular heterospheroid tumor model in hydrogel system.
- It incorporates three aspects of cancer: 3D, multicellularity, and ECM barrier.
- The 3D heterospheroid model is more resistant to drug over 2D monolayer culture.
- Stromal fibroblasts and collagen gel provide more resistance to anti-cancer drug.
